Doug and I have been married thirty two years and have two children. I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a close-knit community and to be a member of a special church family. I was born and raised in Houston and strange as it seems, I never knew I lived in the 4th largest city in the USA. The massive spread of Houston, all the traffic and hustle and bustle was normal to me. Thank God for bringing me to the country. My husband, Bob, and I married in 1985, started coming to Lake Limestone a few years after and loved it. We have 6 wonderful grandchildren not nearly close enough as both sets of families live in other states.
In 2011, we retired and sold out lock, stock and barrel to move to Lake Limestone in Groesbeck, Texas. 2015 I decided retired life wasn’t quite fulfilling enough so I studied to become a Realtor and haven’t looked back since. I received my licensing in May of 2015 and love this job. I enjoying meeting people and assisting them to find a permanent or weekend home, ranch or lot to camp on. It’s all about memories and enjoying life.
We are members of the Groesbeck First Methodist church and have been surrounded by what now is our family and friends. The folks in Groesbeck and Thornton have accepted us as part of them and we have spent time volunteering at the Fishes and Loaves food bank, taking a friend to the senior lunch to share his time with other lifelong friends. I thank God every day for the blessing he has given my husband and me.

I am a married mother of 3. My husband owns a pressure washing business that specializes in Commercial Ventahoods called M-Tex Cleaning Services. We went to Wortham High school together and now our kids are 4th generation Bulldogs. Our son graduated from WHS this year and he will start TSTC in the fall and our twin girls will begin their Junior year at Wortham High.
I graduated from TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY... Class of '95 - Gig 'Em Ags! After graduation, I was a sales rep for a T-shirt company out of College Station. Later, I moved back to the bi-stone area and bought, owned and operated the Curves franchise in Mexia for 12 years where I met some amazing people who are still my friends today! Upon selling the franchise, I decided to get my real estate license. I had always wanted to be in real estate so it seemed like the perfect time to go for it!
I have enjoyed it from the moment I began studying for the Real Estate License Exam. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
What I enjoy the most about being a REALTOR® is helping people find exactly what they are looking for -- whether it's a new home, commercial property or a beautiful piece of land they have been dreaming about. This career has allowed me to grow and learn with every showing and closing! I have met many professionals in the business, from lenders to agents to escrow officers and then some.
